The Shrewsbury Biscuit - Shrewsbury School Darwin Collection Tour

In this special episode you will get to watch AL as he gets shown around Shrewsbury School's Darwin collection, courtesy of a tour put together by the school in aid of The Darwin festival.

You will hear Dr Robin Brooke-Smith and Naomi Nicholas as they talk you through various areas of the library and context behind some of the exhibits in the archive, including letters and books.

Thank you so much the staff at Shrewsbury School for letting me come and do my thing during this fantastic tour. It was a genuine honour to get the opportunity to soak all of this history up in such close quarters. Dr Brooke-Smith and Naomi Nicholas, you were fantastic. Also thank you for telling me about Charles Darwin being hoodwinked by his friends into trying to 'acquire' a free Shrewsbury Cake (later known as biscuit) from the bakery on Castle street, made my day.
