In 1831, Darwin joined a voyage that he later referred to “as by far the most important event in my life". To celebrate his birthday in his home town of Shrewsbury Civic Society plan to host Bibbs Cameron giving a talk on how Darwin's Five Year Adventure on The Beagle changed the way we looked at life. Learn about life on board, his adventures, his scientific friends, including Henslow his Mentor.

Bibbs has run her own tour company Sacred Site Tours. Touring the Sacred Sites of The United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy, with mostly American travellers. Bibbs was also a tour guide at the British Museum in the Egyptology Dept.
