Dr Jude Piesse, a Lecturer in English Literature at Liverpool John Moores University and a former Shrewsbury resident, examines Darwin's family garden at The Mount and its important impact on Darwin's life and work. Her book, The Ghost in the Garden, explores the world of the Darwin clan and the way they helped to seed his world-changing discoveries.
