Darwin's Voyage: Small Plates Night

This month, Shrewsbury is celebrating the DarwIN Festival - a tribute to Shrewsbury’s favourite son, Charles Darwin.

We’re joining in the best way we know how: with a culinary journey tracing Darwin’s voyage to the Galápagos, featuring dishes inspired by the UK, South America, Southern Europe, the Pacific and Australia.

Here's what we shall be serving up:

Canapé;
Cornish crab cake, tartare, Jerusalem artichoke crisp, pickled cucumber

Small Plates;
Cornish mackerel & mussel encebollado
Windsor Estate venison kebab, chimichurri, charred chicory salad
Madeiran punched potatoes
Hobart curried Herefordshire purple sprouting broccoli
Herefordshire Jerusalem artichoke fritter, blood orange, Brazilian green mayo
Tahitian coconut bread

Cornish pudding, custard, chuckleberry. (A modern day Cornish take on bread and butter pudding using our cinnamon buns instead of bread!)

You get all of this for just £35 per person with an optional cocktail available to purchase on the night for £11.

Book your table in Shrewsbury now via the link above or by calling the team - 01743 272709
