In the footsteps of young Charles Darwin - Walking Tour around Shrewsbury town centre

The walking tour, led by local historian Nigel J Hinton, will visit some of the key places Charles knew as a boy and as a young man including the churches where he worshipped, the schools he attended and places where he lived - together with discussion and references to other places he visited in Shropshire.

*Please meet by the statue in The Square in Shrewsbury at 11:00 AM

The tour will finish at 12.45 outside Darwin House on the Mount.

Stout footwear and clothing suitable for the season is advisable.
