Was Wallace the forgotten man? Not according to their correspondence.

This talk, presented by Jon Fraser King, uncovers the story of Darwin and Wallace and the formulation of their theory, providing a fascinating insight into the collaborative process that marked their friendship.

It also returns to the central tenet of their theory and asks whether human progress is simply an attempt to avoid a natural process that has governed life on Earth from its first spark 4 billion years ago

Audience: This is an open / free event, however, RSB members wishing to attend should register through RSB events website
