My love of geology goes back as far as I can remember, opening the newspaper-wrapped treasures of my Grandfather’s collection. Ancient fossils & glittering crystals. A Geology degree from University of Manchester enabled a career in the energy sector spanning three decades. In 1991 I was elected a Fellow of The Geological Society.
Membership of Shropshire Geological Society (SGS) and current Chair has been a great opportunity to re-engage with real rocks, real people, and the geological world.
