The Darwin Birthplace Trust invites you to celebrate Charles Darwin's birthday at a Festive Tea Party in the home where he was born and grew up.

As the building is currently under renovation, you will have the opportunity to see first-hand the work being done to bring the Darwins’ family home back to life.

Afternoon tea will be served in the Drawing Room, where young Charles would have taken tea with his family.

A visual presentation of his early life in Shrewsbury will be on display, and you also will be able to view the upstairs room in which he was born.
